Tarantino slams CGI

In an exclusive talk to film makers at Cannes 08 Quentin Tarantino expressed his personal dislike for the use of CGI in movies. He urged film makers to return to the days of car chases done with real cars, stunts done with stunt artists and a return to realism in film production.
Now, it’s well know that retro film looks are Taratino’s particular fetish… but, as CGI processes become cheap enough for micro-budget film makers, I think Hollywood as a whole is feeling less in love with computer generated effects. Read more
