Ever since I became an indie film maker I’ve always wished there was a magazine, where I could find out the latest news and at the same time read articles about how to do this film making thing well.

And, after many years of wishing, I’ve finally bitten the bullet and decided if no else is going to do it, I’ll do it myself.

So, from now on you’re going to see even more changes at 1000dollarfilm, than just the format.

From next month you’ll see regular columns on script writing, production, post-production, news and the business side of film making, written by people who, I believe, are some of the most gifted, interesting and innovative people on the indie scene at the moment. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be introducing them to you.

On top of this, there’s going to be a lot more video content on the site: both stuff we’ve commissioned and also the best of what we find on the net.

We want this to be the best micro-budget film magazine in the world.

Not only that, we also want you to be able to be part of this, so if you’ve got an article you’re burning to see published about any aspect of indie film making, email it to me here and if it rocks our world, we will publish it for you.
